In this study, the design of an optical biosensor based on two-dimensional heterostructure material BlueP/WS2 has been investigated. This biosensor uses the bimetallic structure of silver, and nickel along with the heterostructure two-dimensional layer of BlueP/WS2 as the active surface. The main purpose of this design is to detect and analyze the SARS-CoV-2 corona virus. By optimizing silver, nickel and BlueP/WS2 layers, the SPR biosensor has high sensitivity and high accuracy. The sensitivity of this biosensor has reached 445.79 (deg/RIU). This means that the biosensor is able to detect small changes in the refractive index of laboratory samples. The performance of the SPR biosensor in detecting the corona virus is fast and accurate. By placing the sample on the biosensor, plasmonic interaction between the metal layers and polarized light occurs. The presence of viral molecules in the sample causes visible changes in the active surface of the biosensor. By using the SPR technique and the analysis of optical changes, the amount and presence of the corona virus is accurately detected. The results of this research show that the SPR biosensor with the bimetallic structure of nickel and silver, along with the two-dimensional layer of BlueP/WS2, is capable of early and accurate detection of the corona virus. This sensor exhibits significantly higher sensitivity compared to similar sensors and can detect the virus with exceptional speed and accuracy. By leveraging this advanced technology, we can better diagnose and treat viral diseases.
