Abstract
Hybridization of grapheme is a favorite method to prepare nanocomposites with high conductivity and surfaces with high absorption. We synthesized TiO2/Grapehen hybrid using fast and simple microwave irradiation method. After preparation of graphite oxide by modified Hummer´s method, the hybrid has been synthesized via interaction of graphene oxide and n-butyl orthotitanate through hydrolysis. The hybrid shows improved photocatalytic power compare to TiO2. Characterization has been done by XRD, FTIR and UV-vis to confirm the formation of the hybrid, i.e. Ti-O-C bonds, and its photocatalytic effect.
